A few days...: ...are needed for vaginal yeast symptoms to clear with treatment. Keep using the Monistat as directed. Or you could speak with your doctor about fluconazole (Diflucan in the US). It's a single dose by mouth, just as effective as a week of vaginal treatment without the hassle.
