See light: When lights are off and you saw bright light would make me investigate more. If this happens frequently than check for the conditions like seizures. Also make sure you have rested enough as exhausting the brain can also lead to symptoms like yours sometimes. Make sure you are not dependant on alcohol and withdrawing also from drugs or alcohol.

Sleep events: Events such as visual, auditory, tactile sensory experience can be part of hypnagogic hallucinations(don't worry-nothing broken in the brain and can be completely resolved) or part of a dream, or a mixture of both. it would be helpful to get more details of when, how often then happen,what is going on in your life, trauma history etc. Sometimes I refer for sleep study or phys. exam if poss.organic
