Don't go cold turkey: Safely weaning off of Advair should be done with the help of your physician and not yourself. It is true that one should step down therapy of advair's long term beta agonist (Salmeterol). But only when your asthma is well controlled. There are NIH study's that are currently trying to determine the best method. But do this with your physician
