Not uncommon: Don't get discouraged it is a common problem in some almost heals and breaks down as you described . Keep the ares clean , take regular showers wash the area with soap and water ,apply dressings go for follow up visits and be patient for couple of wks . It will heal

Cyst near tailbone was diagnosed as a symptom for pilonidal. A surgery with stiches was done on the sinus. The cyst was Left on its own as secondary healing. I was told to go back for another surgery if cyst doesn't heal and it hasn't. please guide?
