Postcoital bleeding: It is unlikely it has anything to do with the IUD. You may have a cervicitis, which is inflammationof the cervix, possibly from an STD. You need and gynecological exam to find out the cause, Get appropriate treatment, and to be sure that the IUD is still in place. It is possible to become pregnant with an IUD but you have not mentioned any symptoms of pregnancy such as nipple tenderness.
