Yes, be worried.: If you're sexually active, check your pregnancy test. We become worried about ectopic pregnancy if you are pregnant with these symptoms. If not pregnant, we evaluate for fibroids, polyps, bleeding disorders, and other causes of abnormal bleeding. Infection is a possibility also. Make an appointment with your physician as soon as possible.
