Yes: The antibiotic is saturating the site of the infection and doing its' job to eliminate the Trichomonas.

Treatment : It can take several days for trichomonas symptoms to clear up. Trich often gives strong odor (typically fishy), so maybe it's from trich itself, not the antibiotic. (As far as I know, the antibiotics for trich have no odor.) Single dose treatment (usually metronidazole) works only 90% of the time, i.e. 10% of patients need longer treatment. Return to doctor if discharge still there at 10 days.
