Baby twitches : There is a normal amount of "twitching" that occurs in babies while falling asleep and while sleeping. We call this "benign myoclonus". Please record this on video and show to your pediatrician at your 9 month check for assessment. To contrast, twitches upon wakening and while awake are never normal and more likely to be part of a seizure disorder. Best of luck!

Dreams: She is likely just dreaming, causing her to twitch which is the most common cause of twitching like this. I know you're probably worried if she's having seizures or something more serious like that. There's an entity called Infantile Spasms but she doesn't quite fit the criteria for that either. If she starts truly flexing her upper body, at the next or waist, take her to her pediatriian
