1st degree burn: You've just described a 1st degree burn which takes about 3-6d, let's say a wk, to heal, on average (check http://familydoctor.org/familydoctor/en/prevention-wellness/staying-healthy/first-aid/first-aid-burns.html for tips on burn care). 2nd degree burns, which tend to blister, may take 2-3wks while full thickness 3rd degree burns take even more time than that.
