Yes of course: well of course you can have a clot as long as there is artery or vein clot in artery very rare in young people. clot in vein is more common in young people specially women,because of birth control pills,pregnancy,factor five deficiency, etc....... there is a vein in your thigh, so if you are concern get venous Doppler.

Then chat w/your Family Doc to make sure you don't have hypercoagulable state/disorder.

Yes, a clot: could potentially form anywhere there is a vascular structure. However, certain locations of clot are more common and/or clinically relevant than others.
