Yes, go to the ER: Bleeding from the rectum may be as simple as hemorrhoids, but if your mom has not had severe constipation or hemorrhoids in the past, I would take her to the ER now as bleeding from the rectum can be very very serious. If she is feeling dizzy or lightheaded, I would call an ambulance
