If you do a home pregnancy test after one month of sex , can you get a false result?

Possible: Every test has an incidence of false positive (says you are pregnant but you are not) and false negative (says you are not pregnant but you actually are). So yes it is possible, the false positive rate is quite low on most home pregnancy tests, but the false negative rate is not quite so low.
