Small hypoechoic area in left upper quadrant..wat it can be?burning in luq on off is the main symptom

Nonspecific : This doesn't point to a single diagnosis. I have sen many patients with crampy left upper abdominal pain that comes and goes, and is associated with a "lump", which was likely a knotted muscle during a spasm. Sounds like a her is, but there are no hernias in this area if no previous incisions. Hope this helps!
