Not uncommon: to occasionally have an period that is different than usual. Lots of things can cause this, including emotional or physical stress, but it often happens for no apparent reason. If you have had unprotected sex, then you should be checked for sexually transmitted disease (STD) which can cause menstrual irregularity. Otherwise, don't worry.
