Miscarriage: or first trimester bleeding or irregular bleeding from hormonal imbalance. Take a blood pregnancy test and see the hcg level. It will be helpful to sort it out.

Irregular bleeding: An irregular period can be a sign of pregnancy or a threatened miscarriage. If sexually active and having unprotected sex, take a pregnancy test.
