Possibly: There are many causes for brutish, but if it started after beginning Lexapro (escitalopram) and nothing else has changed then I would talk to prescribing doc to discuss alternate meds and/or trial of stopping lexapro (escitalopram) for a few days and see if the bruxism stops

Yes: And bruxism can cause excessive tooth wear, fractures, bone/gum loss, and/or joint damage. Talk to Physician about possibly adjusting dose. Talk to Dentist about fabricating a night guard to protect teeth and supporting tissues.
