Post nasal drip: You may have post nasal drip. This can cause your symptoms. Allergies are managed by avoiding the causes. Antihistamines and decongestants. Drink more water to help thin out secretions. Mucous-thinning agents such as guaifenesin , Robitussin may also thin secretions.
