No: It is not a side effect, it is caused by coming OFF the depo-provera. The progesterone in the depo keeps the lining from bleeding and when you come off of it you bleed. 2 months is a little long and probably requires a trip to the doctor to discuss options.

Yes: But with 2 months of bleeding you need to be checked. Low blood is a concern. Your doctor can check you for other causes of persistent bleeding. All the best and be checked this week.

LOL.: It is normal to have regular period if you had Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot more than 3 months ago. It is not NOT called side effect. It is Natural Physiologic phenomenon.
