Yes check it out: This might be nothing but I would suggest you visit your physician just in case. He could run a complete blood count and see what your platelet levels are at.

Is it petechiae: or excoriation? Petechiae result from a bleed from small capillaries. Excoriation is the trauma (removal of the surface layer of skin from picking or scratching) of the skin resulting in red spots. See your PCP to have it properly diagnosed.
