A member asked:

I'm wondering if i can take an hpt with blood ? i got 2 very faint positives w/ urine and a few negatives so wondering if blood is accurate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: hpt is for use with urine only. If you need to do a blood test, which is more sensitive, you should see your doctor. An easier option would be to repeat hpt in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
