Not true: That's not true that it's not good long term. For your condition, it's a good medicine. The benefits in your case outweigh any risks. There's really no better medicine. All medicines have side effects and the cardiac meds for your specific condition have similar side effects.

Atenolol: no problem with long term atenolol use. On the other hand should try and find out why rapid rate.
