Get checked.: I'm always more concerned about pain that wakes us up at night. If it's above your belt line, I'd wonder about gall bladder symptoms. Gall stones can sometimes give you right sided pain in the armpit, the shoulder or the scapula. But do get this checked - if only for the reason that it's bothersome enough to awaken you.
