Spotting.: If it is one time problem usually it resolves by itself. If it is recurring problem then it could be hormonal problem or infection. See gyn to regulate your periods.

2 weeks: Two weeks before your period is due is when ovulation occurs and spotting can occur then due to the hormonal swings that accompany ovulation. This is the most likely explaination for your spotting unless you have other problems. Hope this helps.
