My gf has periods twice in one month i want to know why it happens?

Depends on question.: If a woman has a menstrual period once a month, during 10-11 months of the year, but has 2 menstrual periods during one month each year, or during 2 months each year, that can be a normal pattern. It means her cycle length is 25-28 days (13-14 periods a year).
