Many reasons: Unfortunately there are many reasons why your cycle is acting out of routing - too many to discuss. We generally don't get concerned however if it's just one or two cycles and the flow is not extremely heavy. Many times cycles resume there normal pattern the next month. As long as you are on contraception, waiting another cycle or two to see if things "straighten out" would be reasonable.
