DO or DC: It is not unusual to get a rib out of place. Try gently stretching, twisting, bending. Sometimes it will go back on its own. Also consider seeing a chiropractor or osteopathic physician that can manipulate it back into position. If associated with other symptoms such as worsening pain, weakness or shortness of breath, then seek urgent medical care
