Depends : did you take it at the appropriate time after 3 weeks of use? If so then there is no issue as the directions for use are 3 weeks in followed by one week out. If you took it out incorrectly then you can not rely on it and Plan B should be used.

Depends: If you use the NuvaRing as directed, it is a good form of contraception. One ring insert vaginally and leave in place for 3 weeks. Then removed for 1 week. During that one week the menstrual period starts. Replace ring for another cycle. Advise condom use. So from your hx you are already off cycle. I would check an OTC pregnancy test. Review the directions carefully.
