In general,: It takes about 48-72 hours for you to have noticeable results from an antibiotics. If you don't have any improvement after that time period, check back with the doctor to see if there may be an additional infection of some kind. Good luck!

A few days: Cervicitis is often an STD, especially gonorrhea or chlamydia, and you were correctly treated for both. The main symptoms of cervicitis (vaginal discharge, urinary discomfort, maybe spotting) can take a few days to clear up and might worsen briefly. However, if you have pelvic pain or fever, and getting worse, they suggest PID (tube infection). If so, get rechecked today; may need more antibiotic.
