No: Guillan-Barre is a poorly understood but fascinating symmetric ascending paralysis (both legs get paralyzed from the feet moving on up to sometimes respiratory failure). Cause include campylobacter jejuni infections as well as several viruses. ANA will likely be negative. Lab tests include lumbar puncture, EMG etc. Miller-Fisher variant of is usually associated with an antibody GQ1b.
