Anovulation: If you are not pregnant, you are having anovulatory cycles. This means for some reason an egg is not being released. This happens occasionally to most women and is often associated with stress. Other problems such as thyroid dysfunction can be associated. If missing two periods becomes a pattern or if you miss more- see your doctor for an evaluation.
