Ibuprofen: it is best to space the doses at least 4-6 hours apart. if 600 mg is not effective, try 800 mg(= four over the counter tabs) every 4-6 hours instead. then call you physician or dentist for an appointment to monitor the condition that is causing you pain

Not a good idea: No it is not a good idea to take 600 mgm of Ibuprofen after 2 hours.You should wait at least 6 hours before you take another pill

Yes: you may take another 600mg about 6 hours after the last dose. Much depends on the reason you are taking it. Good Luck.
