Morning belly pain: Helpful to know the longevity & situational nature of your symptoms re: mechanical vs functional cause (such as diabetes with gut neuropathy) Quality, timing, location? Is there an accompanying atypical migraine, lung +/- sinus drainage nocturnally, underlying Irritable Bowel? Have weight loss, stress/depression--the doctor will ask about these & more when he/she clarifies the history here.
