Yes: this is a class of drugs known as beta blockers. originally and still used in treating elevated blood pressure, the beta blockers have been found effective in treating anxiety. this is specifically true for the norepinephrine symptoms of racing heart, panic, lump inthe throat and shakiness.and startle response.
