Post nasal drip: Bad taste associated with post nasal drip is not necessarily a sign of infection, although chronic sinus infection can present this way. Irritation of the throat may be causative for the unusual taste. Need to start by addressing the drip itself. Are there triggering factors for chronic rhinitis (allergy, irritant exposure, polyps etc.)? Chlorpheniramine may help, but read label carefully.
