No food: is not good, even while having the stomach bug. The reason is that your intestinal lining needs good nutrition to grow back healthy. You should consider at least taking bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. If you have any concerns about dehydration (peeing less, for instance), you need to go to the ER to be checked out, to have labs drawn, and possibly receive IV fluids.
