Certainly.: Cardiac catheterizations are generally just diagnostic procedures, but may be combined with a ballon angioplasty or stent placement. As long as vessels cause problems one at a time, a patient can have as many procedures as necessary. However if all three major vessels have significant blockages, bypass surgery may be indicated.
