Become fat adapted: If you start your day with eating healthy fats and protein (and don't eat any carbs) your body will be stimulated to burn fat. As long as you limit your eating to small amounts of complex carbs you will stay in fat burning mode through the work day - http://livinlavidalowcarb.com/blog/. You'll avoid blood sugar swings and will have even good energy through the day. Also avoid caffeine.

There is no perfect: Science of timing meals. Whether you decide to adopt a three meals a day with several snack in between or six small meals a day(or other variants in between), aim to try to space things out evenly.
