Abnormal bleeding: I'm glad you're taking iron supplements. This amount and duration of vaginal bleeding can cause iron deficiency anemia. The better question to ask is "What can cause so much vaginal bleeding?" Causes of abnormal bleeding include uterine fibroids, hormonal imbalance, tumors and uterine cancer. Please seek medical care.
