My friend takes 15mg mirtazapine daily he's just taken 5 tablets, i think are 75 in total is he safe?

No: while it is unlikely that 75mg of remeron (mirtazapine) will cause a fatal reaction, if it was taken as a self harm action, he needs to be assessed now. there area number of potential side effects which should be evaluated as well. then there is the issue of not following the physicians instructions. i have on rare occasion used 60mg but restless leg syndrome, weight gain and xs sedation.
