More info needed: Are your period regular (frequency, duration, amount)? Are you trying to achieve pregnancy? You need to be examined by a doctor to check a more sensitive pregnancy test and to check for STD's (I'm not saying you have one, but whenever someone has pain and irregular discharge it should be considered). I hope this helps.

Period is a week late and i'm having a clear watery discharge what does this mean?

Take a test: If you're period is late and you are sexually active, consider taking a home pregnancy test to make sure you're not pregnant. Otherwise, this delay is likely due to hormones, thyroid or changes in weight (thin/heavy). Discharge doesn't signal anything at this point in time. Thin is usually mid-cycle, but it doesn't sound like you are mid-cycle.
