Hidradenitis: Hidradenitis is an entirely different condition than hyperhidrosis. Hidradenitis suppurutive will not lead to hyperhidrosis. I have treated hyperhidrosis since 1999 at the Center for Excessive Sweating and do not see an overlap between these two conditions. The former is an infective process. The latter is overdrive of the sympathetic nervous system.
