Are pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) tablets as effective as the liquid form? how does it work? do you have any recommendations for other things to try to alleviate nausea? thanks!

They do: they do ,the crushing tablet are as effective as the liquid form.
they worked by coating the stomach with it and minimize irritation,
patient with nausea should eat saltines crackers ,drink ginger ale, sprite, Canada dry, and refrain from food, and stay hydrated as much as possible.
if could not keep fluid down, and vomiting started, then need to seek a medical attention.
