Sedation: Reactine (cetirizine) is a newer generation antihistamine and is less sedating than older generation meds. However, there is still potential for sedation particularly when mixed with alcohol. Some patients are particularly sensitive to the side effects and others are not. Caution is advised and certainly avoid driving.
