Nothing Wrong: 31 year old female says, one of my buttocks is bigger than the other, what's wrong? Nothing is wrong. Human beings, male or female, rarely have 100% symmetry. Most women will tell you one breast is bigger or smaller than the other. Many men will also confirm that one hand or the other is bigger or smaller. Yes one buttock can be bigger or smaller. No problem

Some possibilites...: Buttocks are made of muscle, with some skin and fat. If a person has one small and one large buttock from way back when (childhood), it's possible that one of the muscles did not develop properly (have yet to see a case of that). If the muscles developed equally, and then one buttock shrunk, the problem could be atrophy of one muscle due to non-use (such as after nerve injury or being in a cast).
