Urgency: The sensation of "needing to go" to urinate is termed urgency. Although dietary intake of caffeine, spicy foods, some artificial sweeteners, acidic foods, and certain vitamin complexes can sometimes increase urgency, a urinary tract infection is also a possibility. If you have a history of kidney stones, one in the kidney tube near the bladder can also cause urgency. Best to see your doctor.
