Physiologic: leukorrhea is the fancy name. It is normal that your vaginal lining produces mucus to stay moist, clean and healthy. Your vaginal mucus will be thicker or thinner depending on what stage you are in your mensrual cycle. The mucus should not create itching or be related to pain.
