Possibly a fungus: Possibly a variant of jock-itch. Try some lotrimin (clotrimazole) powder or spray. If it doesn't improve in 1 week, see your doctor for a closer look.

Periana Itch: The perineum, the area between the genitals and the anus, is warm, and moist, and can itch. The itching could be caused by a germ, like a yeast infection, or some soap or laundry detergent, or allergies, like eczema. Or even stress. Use ivory or dove soap to bathe, then dry well, and use ivory detergent to wash your under clothes and no fabric softener.. Take loratadin 10mgm daily.
