Its been6 weeks since the last time i had sex, i took a pregnancy test last week, it came back negative. my period is late though could i be pregnant ?

A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. A Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate if symptoms persist.
