A member asked:

Is there any kind of vaginal numbing cream a doctor can give to someone to take at home if they suffer from pelvic pain due to interstitial cycitus?

Sorry but no: Interstitial cystitis is an inflammation of the muscular wall of the bladder. Can be very difficult to treat. Vaginal "numbing" cream would not be helpful. This condition makes sexual intercourse very painful. I am assuming since you have this diagnosis you are being seen by a urologist. If so, please discuss with them further treatment options for your condition. Sorry can't be more help
