A member asked:

Diagnosed with strep throat, can you have a cough and runny nose plus congestion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not typical: Usually with strep throat you have classically a fever, headache, abd pain and sore throat WITHOUT nasal congestion and cough. When you have a sore throat after a few days of nasal congestion and cough that typically denotes a viral URI.
